Vietnam Food Administration investigates two health supplements for illegal advertising
The Vietnam Food Administration has requested the Hanoi Department of Health to urgently investigate two health supplement products for suspected illegal advertising violations.
DK-Betics Gold, produced by DK Khoa Joint Stock Company, is under scrutiny following reports that its social media and website advertisements mislead consumers by suggesting the product has medicinal properties. The advertisements also reportedly use images of doctors to promote the supplement, which violates current regulations.
Additionally, the authority has called for an inspection of Non Alco, a dietary supplement produced by Vitath Pharmaceutical JSC. Investigations indicate that Non Alco has been advertised despite not having received the required certification for its advertising content.
