Vietnam Food Administration orders Shopee to remove Sausando Slimming capsule
The Vietnam Food Administration has ordered Shopee to cease sales and remove all information regarding Sausando Slimming capsule from its e-commerce platform.
During a post-inspection of functional food registrations, authorities discovered that the product was being marketed using a registration number (5218/2023/ĐKSP) that the agency confirmed was never issued. The product, linked to Junda Trading Co., Ltd., has not received the necessary legal licensing for circulation.
In addition to the removal request, the agency has called on Shopee to conduct a comprehensive review of its functional food transactions to ensure all listed products comply with mandatory registration and self-declaration regulations.
