Vietnam Football Federation announces candidates for 2027-2031 term

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has officially released the list of nominees for key positions within the Executive Committee and Inspection Committee for its X term (2027-2031).

Incumbent President Tran Quoc Tuan is among three candidates nominated for the presidency. He will compete against Nguyen Duc Thuy, Vice Chairman of Sacombank, and Nguyen Xuan Vu, Vice Chairman of Sacombank and current VFF Vice President.

For the position of Vice President in charge of professional affairs, the nominees include Tran Quoc Tuan, current Vice President Tran Anh Tu, and Executive Committee member Tran Huy Duc. Six candidates have been proposed for the Vice President role overseeing finance and sponsorship: Vu Quoc Khanh, Nguyen Trung Kien, Le Van Thanh, Nguyen Duc Thuy, Tran Anh Tu, and Nguyen Xuan Vu. Additionally, Nguyen Xuan Vu is the sole nominee for the Vice President role in charge of communications.

The VFF X term Congress is scheduled to take place in Hanoi on January 4, 2027. Elections for the presidency, vice presidencies, and committee members will be conducted via secret ballot under the supervision of the Election Committee, with no proxy or mail-in voting permitted.
