Vietnam forum connects resources to support youth development

A forum was held in Vietnam to connect resources and support the development of the nation's youth. Key speakers, including Nguyen Kim Quy, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Youth Federation, emphasized that young people are a vital social force characterized by patriotism, creativity, and community responsibility.

Nguyen Kim Quy highlighted the need to equip youth with knowledge, skills, resilience, and adaptability to navigate new developmental challenges. He stressed that organizations must move beyond mere membership expansion to focus on practical values, such as listening to youth and creating environments where they can realize their potential without being hindered by their circumstances.

The event featured inspiring stories from individuals recognized for their resilience. Le Thi Tham, a teacher who learned to write with her feet due to physical challenges, and Ca Van Minh, who leads a charitable model supporting disadvantaged students, shared their experiences. Additionally, Dang Thi Kim Oanh spoke about her work in helping people with disabilities achieve economic independence.
