Vietnam government discloses results of business petition processing

The Vietnamese government has publicly released the results of its processing of various petitions submitted by businesses and associations. This disclosure follows a government meeting held on July 18, 2026, aimed at resolving obstacles to promote growth and competitiveness.

The published results cover several critical areas, including procedures for business mergers and acquisitions, foreign investor capital accounts, the handling of collateral by credit institutions, and outstanding resettlement housing issues. Additionally, the report addresses banking activities related to fund certificates and insurance products.

The government also disclosed outcomes for 27 items compiled by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and six items related to the Ministry of Science and Technology. Following the directive of the Prime Minister, relevant ministries and local authorities have been tasked with resolving issues within their jurisdiction or proposing policy amendments for higher-level approval.
