Vietnam Government inspects HANDICO over land and capital management

The Government Inspectorate of Vietnam has announced a decision to conduct an inspection of the Hanoi Housing Investment and Development Corporation (HANDICO). The investigation will focus on preventing waste in the management and use of housing and land assets, as well as activities related to joint ventures, capital contributions, and divestment.

The inspection period covers a seven-year span from January 1, 2019, to December 31, 2025. The inspection team, consisting of 10 members led by Truong Khanh Hai, has 30 working days to conduct direct inspections at the unit.

Deputy Inspector General Nguyen Thanh Tuan stated that the mission is part of the 2026 work plan and is intended to support and resolve difficulties for enterprises. He emphasized that the process must not disrupt the normal production and business activities of HANDICO or its related units, while ensuring that any identified violations clearly define the responsibilities of specific individuals and collectives.
