Vietnam honors veteran party members with badges for National Day

In celebration of Vietnam's National Day on September 2, various provinces have held ceremonies to honor long-serving members of the Communist Party.

In Phu Tho Province, the Provincial Party Committee decided to award and posthumously award Party Badges to 14,654 members with 30 to 70 years of service. This includes two members receiving the 75-year badge and 11 members receiving the 70-year badge. Local leaders visited elderly members to express respect for their contributions to the revolution.

In Ha Tinh Province, 104-year-old Dang Tung was among the veteran members honored with an 80-year Party Badge. Having joined the revolution in 1945, he was recognized for his lifelong dedication to community and party activities.

Across these regions, the ceremonies serve to recognize the lifelong commitment of party members and to inspire younger generations to uphold political responsibilities and traditional values.
