Vietnam hosts buckwheat flower festival in Tuyen Quang

The 12th Buckwheat Flower Festival has opened in Tuyen Quang, held within the UNESCO Global Geopark of the Dong Van Karst Plateau. The event aims to promote green tourism and celebrate the cultural identity of local ethnic communities.

Under the theme ‘Echoes of the Stone Land,’ the festival features artistic performances by folk artisans and students. Local officials emphasized the importance of preserving cultural heritage and natural landscapes while improving professional tourism services to attract domestic and international visitors.
