Vietnam hosts major industrial and technology exhibitions

Major industrial and technology exhibitions are underway in Vietnam, highlighting the country's growing role in global manufacturing and supply chains.

In Hanoi, Vietnam Industry and Technology Week 2026 (VITW 2026) has officially opened at the Vietnam Exposition Center. The event features over 2,000 booths covering sectors such as vehicle electrification, automation, and green manufacturing. The week includes several specialized fairs, including the Vietnam International Industrial Fair and the International Manufacturing Congress.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the 24th Vietnam International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition (VietnamPlas 2026) is being held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center. The exhibition hosts 650 exhibitors from over 15 countries, focusing on smart production, recycling technology, and automation. Notably, an India Pavilion has debuted to expand international cooperation.

Additionally, the HCMC EXPORT Fair 2026 is adopting an “on-site export” model. Located near industrial hubs in northern Ho Chi Minh City, the fair aims to connect international buyers directly with production facilities and raw material sources. Key sectors include textiles, food and agriculture, Halal products, and woodworking, with an emphasis on digital and green transformation.
