Vietnam hosts regional rounds of National Robotics Creativity Contest

The 6th National Robotics Creativity Contest has held its regional rounds in Central and Southern Vietnam. The competition, organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, aims to foster scientific passion, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills among the younger generation.

The Central Vietnam regional round in Nghe An featured 287 teams with 519 students from eight provinces. Participants were divided into two categories: R1 for primary school students and R2 for secondary school students. The Southern Vietnam round included 166 teams and 296 contestants.

Under the theme “Vietnam stepping firmly into a new era,” the contest focuses on preparing youth for digital transformation and technological advancement. Teams competed in two official rounds, demonstrating robot programming, precision, and teamwork. Top performers from these regional rounds will advance to the national finals in Hung Yen on September 20.
