Vietnam implements educational reforms and technological innovation initiatives

Vietnam is implementing various educational and technological initiatives across the country. The Ministry of Education and Training has announced a plan to establish unified procedures for preventing and responding to gender-based violence in educational institutions by 2030. This includes developing framework guidelines for risk assessment, safety assurance, and support mechanisms.

In Dak Lak, education officials have called for an end to grade inflation and the falsification of academic records, emphasizing that assessments must reflect actual student progress. Meanwhile, vocational training is seeing shifts toward modernization, with institutions like the Quang Ninh Viet-Han College integrating AI and industry partnerships to meet the demands of FDI enterprises.

Technological innovation is also a focus, with the National Innovation Center (NIC) 2026 showcasing robotics and automation solutions from companies like NextGen Robotics and ETEK. In Da Nang, the Son Tra Innovation Festival 2026 is promoting AI and digital transformation to drive local economic and social development.

Additionally, career orientation programs are being launched to help students navigate the digital era, and the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine recently welcomed its new cohort of students with various academic and cultural activities.
