Vietnam hosts two pickleball tournaments linking media, business and charity

On July 28, 2026, the Ho Chi Minh City Press and Business Pickleball Competition took place at the Swin sports complex in Tân Hưng, featuring more than 300 million VND in prizes. Organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association together with Infinity Acts, the event aimed to strengthen ties between journalists, enterprises and the community through six competition categories, including mixed pairs of reporters, business representatives and celebrities.

A week earlier, on July 25, the DSP Summer Fruit Festival Pickleball Tournament was held at the DSP Long Khanh venue in Hàng Gòn, Đồng Nai. The tournament gathered 88 pairs of athletes and, under the slogan “Thi đấu hết mình – Lan tỏa yêu thương,” converted its entire budget into gifts for disadvantaged schoolchildren in the district. Local officials such as Party Secretary Nông Thanh Tuấn and Vice Chair Nguyễn Văn Hoàng presented the presents, highlighting the event’s charitable dimension alongside the sport competition.
