Dak Lak hosts finals for 2026 Rural Youth Startup competition

The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organized the final round of the 2026 Rural Youth Startup Project competition in Dak Lak on September 18. The competition, which launched in March 2026, received 315 project applications from 33 provinces and cities across Vietnam.

Following preliminary rounds and semi-finals held in Lao Cai, Nghe An, and Lam Dong, 29 outstanding projects were selected for the final stage. These projects focus on diverse areas including agricultural economic development, digital transformation, environmental protection, and local resource exploitation.

Canh Chi Quan, Deputy Head of the Youth and Children Work Department of the Central Committee, stated that the competition aims to create opportunities for agricultural businesses to access innovative ideas and potential business models. The event seeks to attract investment, expand production, and build value chains while encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit among Vietnam's rural youth.
