National Currency Printing Plant appoints new Chairman
The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has officially appointed Do Giang Nam as the Chairman of the Board of Members of the National Currency Printing Plant. Additionally, Mr. Nam has been designated as the Party Secretary of the plant for the 2025–2030 term.
SBV Governor Pham Duc An attended the ceremony to deliver the decision. The Governor emphasized that the plant's most critical political task is the printing of currency, ensuring it meets all quality and technical standards as planned by the SBV. He also noted the importance of preparing for the commissioning of a new printing facility.
Mr. Nam, who joined the plant on April 1, 2026, previously served as a Member of the Board of Members of the Vietnam Asset Management Company (VAMC). He outlined a four-pillar strategy for the plant: modernization through data-driven management, maintaining multi-layered security, achieving technological autonomy in printing and materials, and integrating with international security and quality standards.
