Vietnam implements regional social welfare and administrative updates

Various administrative and social welfare updates are being implemented across Vietnam. In Hanoi, authorities are addressing a surge in health insurance expenditures by analyzing data to identify abnormal costs and prevent fund abuse. The Vietnam Social Security agency is coordinating with health departments to monitor medical supplies and implement stricter inspections.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the municipal government has proposed a monthly support payment of 1 million VND for nearly 24,000 individuals involved in revolutionary activities and those who contributed to the revolution. If approved, this would require an estimated 24 billion VND per month from the city budget.

Regarding public health, Ho Chi Minh City has completed health examinations for over 3.7 million people, representing 29.1% of its population. Localities such as Thanh An and Phuoc Thang have achieved the highest examination rates. Additionally, the city's construction department has announced plans to inspect 29 motor vehicle registration centers through the end of 2026 to ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations.
