Vietnam innovates grassroots leadership after administrative restructuring

Following administrative restructuring that reduced the number of village and residential group party cells to 1,609, local authorities are innovating leadership methods to ensure effective governance.

In Khanh Hong Village, located in Lam Thuong Commune, the newly consolidated party cell is focusing on practical issues such as agricultural cultivation, livestock development, and poverty reduction. To improve efficiency, the cell is utilizing digital technology, such as Zalo groups, to distribute meeting agendas and draft resolutions in advance. This approach allows members to study materials beforehand and dedicate more meeting time to discussing specific local challenges and community needs.
