Vietnam intensifies anti-corruption and waste prevention measures
Authorities in Vietnam are intensifying efforts to prevent corruption, negativity, and waste as part of a long-term strategy to build a clean administrative apparatus and improve state management efficiency.
During the first nine months of 2026, the province has implemented synchronized measures to control power and ensure transparency. Key focus areas include financial and budget management, public asset procurement, personnel work, and the enforcement of official codes of conduct. To prevent violations, the province has emphasized asset and income control, including the random selection of 47 individuals across 12 agencies for asset verification.
Local leadership has issued directives to strengthen Party oversight in this new phase, aligning with the National Strategy on anti-corruption, waste, and negativity through 2030. Efforts also include maintaining administrative discipline and fostering a culture of integrity among civil servants.
