Vietnam intensifies health awareness campaigns for youth and women

Various regional organizations in Vietnam are intensifying efforts to educate youth and women on the dangers of tobacco, e-cigarettes, and narcotics. In Ha Tinh, Nguyen Trung Thien High School conducted awareness sessions for over 1,400 students, focusing on debunking myths regarding the safety and non-addictive nature of e-cigarettes.

In Tuyen Quang, the provincial Women's Union is integrating tobacco prevention into community activities and family meetings to meet national strategies aimed at reducing smoking rates among men and women by 2030. Meanwhile, in Quang Ninh, training sessions have been organized to help young people identify new types of drugs that may be disguised as food, beverages, or electronic cigarettes.
