Vietnam issues new decree on government facility standards
Vietnam has issued a new decree to refine regulations regarding the standards and quotas for the use of working headquarters and professional activity facilities. The regulation aims to ensure that physical infrastructure effectively supports state management and public services while promoting the efficient use of public assets and preventing waste.
The decree establishes that if an organization manages multiple facilities, the standards will be determined based on the total area of all assigned sites. It also outlines procedures for reviewing and handling areas that exceed established quotas during organizational restructuring, such as mergers, splits, or changes in management.
Standards and quotas will undergo a periodic review every five years, with the first review scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
