Vietnam issues new resolution on ideological work strategy

The Communist Party of Vietnam has issued Resolution No. 25-NQ/TW regarding ideological work strategies in a new context. The resolution emphasizes that ideological work is a vital component of Party leadership, serving to pave the way for implementation and consolidate public trust. While acknowledging the role of ideological work in the country's development over 40 years of reform, the resolution identifies several limitations, including inadequate awareness among some leaders, outdated information management methods, and a lack of synchronized technical tools for protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

In related national commemorations, preliminary rehearsals were held at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi for the military parade marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. The events reflect on the historical significance of the 1945 Declaration of Independence and the ongoing pursuit of national sovereignty, peace, and social development.
