Vietnam issues safety warning for seven products recalled abroad

The National Competition Commission of Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued a safety warning regarding seven products currently being recalled in foreign markets. These products pose potential risks to health, safety, and property, and may be available to Vietnamese consumers through cross-border e-commerce platforms.

Key electronic items flagged due to lithium-ion battery risks—including overheating, fire, or explosion—are the Cambridge Audio Yoyo (M) portable Bluetooth speaker, the NEWDERY ZHX-PB22 power bank, and the Love To Dream sleep aid device. All three are noted as originating from China. Additionally, the INMO Air3 smart glasses are being recalled due to overheating risks in the left temple.

Other recalled items include Ricky Joy Sour Crush liquid candy from Colombia, which poses choking hazards, GIHNJSI bun-shaped soft squeeze toys from China, and Mistolin and Lestoil multi-purpose cleaners from Puerto Rico. Authorities advise consumers to carefully verify product origins and safety information before purchasing, especially when shopping online.
