Vietnam launches Data for Life 2026 competition in Singapore

Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security has launched the fourth season of the ‘Data for Life 2026’ competition in Singapore. Themed ‘Build Together,’ the initiative aims to expand the competition’s international reach and strengthen cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore in the fields of data, artificial intelligence, science, technology, and innovation.

Hosted at Vidacity under Singapore’s Ministry of Digital Development and Information, the event seeks to connect universities, research institutes, businesses, and startup communities across the ASEAN region. The competition is designed to identify technology solutions that use data to address practical challenges for people, businesses, and society.

Representatives from AI Singapore noted the potential for synergy between Singapore’s active AI research and development ecosystem and Vietnam’s growing demand for data applications. Organizers hope to attract students, researchers, and tech experts to develop scalable solutions that contribute to regional digital transformation and socio-economic development.
