Vietnam launches youth patriotism campaign and China exchange
Vietnam is launching the ‘I Love My Fatherland’ media campaign, running from August 21 to September 2, 2026. Organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation, the initiative aims to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day. The campaign encourages young people to demonstrate patriotism through concrete actions in study, labor, and daily life, with a goal of generating at least 30,000 creative pieces of content, including 25,000 short videos on platforms like TikTok and Facebook.
In a related effort to strengthen bilateral ties, Vietnamese youth participated in the ‘Red Journey’ program in Nanning, Guangxi, China. Under the theme ‘Following Ho Chi Minh’s Footsteps,’ the exchange program was co-hosted by the youth unions of Vietnam and China, along with the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam. More than 100 Vietnamese delegates attended the event to review revolutionary traditions and discuss modern cooperation in areas such as innovation and artificial intelligence, fostering friendship between the two nations.
