Vietnam Jurists Association holds 15th National Congress

The 15th National Congress of the Vietnam Jurists Association (2026-2031 term) took place in Hanoi on October 7. The event was attended by Bùi Thị Minh Hoài, Member of the Politburo and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, along with various former high-ranking officials.

During the congress, President of the Association Nguyễn Khánh Ngọc emphasized the mission of jurists in building a socialist rule-of-law state and participating in legislative processes. He identified three key breakthroughs for the new term, focusing on enhancing the capacity to contribute to institutional creation and addressing emerging legal issues arising from the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and green development.

The congress included 219 official delegates representing over 100,000 members nationwide. The association aims to leverage the expertise of its members to serve the people and support the country's development goals in the new era.
