Vietnam leaders send condolences over death of former Chinese Premier Chu Dung Cơ

Vietnamese leaders have sent official messages of condolence following the death of former Chinese Premier Chu Dung Cơ. Chu passed away on August 12 at the age of 97.

Key Vietnamese officials, including General Secretary and President Tô Lâm, Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng, and National Assembly Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn, sent condolences to Chinese President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, and other high-ranking members of the Chinese leadership. The messages recognized Chu Dung Cơ as an outstanding leader who made significant contributions to China’s reform, opening-up, and international economic integration.
