Vietnam Man Wins 6 billion‑dong Lottery Jackpot

A worker in Tây Ninh, Vietnam, purchased three lottery tickets on his way to work and hit the Southern region's mega‑jackpot, winning 6 billion dong (about US$260,000) on June 15. The winning tickets bore the numbers 290235, 390235 and 090235, each drawn from the Cà Mau draw. In addition to the jackpot, two consolation prizes of 50 million dong each were awarded for the latter two tickets.

The win was reported by local vendor Hà Tô Phương Lan of the Lan Hùng Tú ticket outlet, who noted that a total of 13 tickets from various customers hit the jackpot that day, while other large payouts were recorded in Ho Chi Minh City and Vĩnh Long province, indicating a remarkable draw across southern Vietnam.
