Vietnam marks 13th National Youth Union Congress with concert and music video

To celebrate the 13th National Youth Union Congress, a large‑scale concert titled “Thanh xuân” was staged at the My Đình F1 racetrack in Hanoi on 27 June. The event, organized by the newspaper Tiền Phong, projected a three‑part narrative of Vietnam’s youth—from historic sacrifice to present‑day ambition and future promise. More than 20,000 spectators attended in person and the show was livestreamed. Performers spanned several generations, including Hòa Minzy, Hà Myo and many other pop, rock, rap and folk artists.

Alongside the concert, a music video called “Áo xanh gọi tương lai” was released on 18 June by Báo Thanh Niên. The song, chosen as the official anthem of the congress, gathers contributions from over 2,000 young singers and performers and features pageant winners Quế Anh and Ngọc Hằng among others. Both the concert and the video aim to showcase the energy, ambition and social responsibility of Vietnam’s youth as the country moves into a new development phase.
