Vietnam marks International Beer Day and 70th anniversary of State Reserves on Aug 7, 2026

Friday, 7 August 2026 is observed as International Beer Day worldwide. In Vietnam the date also commemorates the 70th anniversary of the State Reserves sector, which was created on 7 August 1956 to manage strategic national supplies. The day falls on the lunar calendar as the 25th day of the 6th month, Quý Sửu, a date traditionally considered inauspicious for large construction projects but suitable for ceremonies, medical treatment, and legal matters.
