Vietnam media and publishing leaders receive new appointments

Several leadership appointments have been announced within prominent Vietnamese media and publishing organizations.

Thái Ngọc Quý has been appointed as the Chairman of the Members' Council and Director of Tre Publishing House. A veteran with 25 years of experience in publishing, printing, and distribution, Quý has spent 22 years at the company. The appointment, effective from October 15, 2026, for a five-year term, follows his previous roles as Deputy Director and Acting Chairman.

Additionally, Nguyễn Ngọc Toàn has been reappointed as the Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Niên Newspaper. The decision, announced by the Central Committee of the Youth Union, is effective from November 1, 2026. Toàn, who has over 30 years of journalistic experience including 26 years at Thanh Niên, will hold the position until his statutory retirement.
