Vietnam military units participate in training and propaganda competitions

Military units in Vietnam are participating in various training competitions and propaganda contests to enhance readiness and professional skills.

The An Giang Provincial Military Command is preparing its permanent militia maritime squadron for a two-day competition scheduled for October 12 and 13. Supported by the Naval Region 5 Command and Brigade 127, five crews will undergo comprehensive testing covering vessel operations, electrical engineering, weaponry, and electronic equipment. Training includes complex maneuvers such as navigating narrow channels, search and rescue, and handling limited visibility.

Separately, the Vietnam Coast Guard participated in the 2026 All-Army Young Propagandist and Excellent Youth Union Officer Competition in Can Tho. The Coast Guard team received recognition for their creative presentations and performances. Lieutenant Dinh Ngoc Linh was awarded second place in the competition, earning certificates for excellence in both youth union leadership and propaganda efforts.
