Vietnam Ministry of Construction inspects social housing projects in Thai Nguyen

A delegation from the Ministry of Construction conducted field inspections of six key social housing projects in Thai Nguyen province to address obstacles and accelerate the housing supply for low-income earners and workers.

Inspected sites include the Viet Han Urban Area, Diem Thuy, Song Cong Urban Area No. 1, TNG Viet Bac, Tuc Duyen, and the DBG worker housing project. At the Viet Han Urban Area, a 15-story building has reached its roof stage, with 666 apartments expected to be ready for use within 2026. The DBG worker housing project, consisting of 835 units, is also entering its finishing phase.

In addition to site inspections, the Ministry of Construction has issued directives to tighten the progress of public investment capital disbursement for 2026. Investors and project management boards are required to follow a ‘6 clear’ principle: clear people, clear tasks, clear timing, clear responsibility, clear products, and clear authority. Contractors failing to meet progress deadlines will face penalties and be publicly listed on the National Bidding Network System.
