Vietnam Ministry of Health orders removal of Sausando Slimming capsule ads

The Vietnam Food Administration, under the Ministry of Health, has requested the removal of TikTok advertisements and links for ‘Sausando Slimming capsule’. Authorities discovered the product is being marketed and sold on TikTok and Shopee without a valid product registration certificate.

Investigations revealed that the product, sold by Junda Trading Co., Ltd., was using a fraudulent registration number (5218/2023/ĐKSP) that the Food Administration confirmed was never issued. The agency has urged the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety to inspect the company’s production and business activities and to conduct sample testing. Results are expected by October 26.
