Vietnam Ministry of Public Security resumes investigation into Trần Tuấn

The Security Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security has announced the resumption of an investigation into Trần Tuấn, born in 1988, regarding the crime of “organizing others to illegally flee abroad.” The case involves activities occurring in Hanoi and several other provinces.

Trần Tuấn was previously indicted and placed on a wanted list in 2019. Authorities have issued a formal request for him to surrender to assist with investigation, prosecution, and trial, noting that surrendering may allow him to benefit from legal leniency. The Ministry has advised that any individual who locates the suspect has the right to arrest and immediately hand him over to the nearest police, procuracy, or local people's committee.
