Vietnam National Assembly to question Finance and Science Ministers

The Vietnam National Assembly will hold its first questioning session of the term on November 12, focusing on the sectors of finance and science and technology.

Minister of Finance Ngo Van Tuan is scheduled to address four key areas: the management and disbursement of 2026 public investment capital and the 2026–2030 medium-term plan; challenges regarding ODA, preferential loans, and public-private partnership (PPP) funding; tax management for e-commerce and digital platforms; and strategies to promote economic growth by improving the business environment and reducing administrative hurdles.

Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan will focus on three main areas, including the implementation of tasks related to science, technology, and innovation as outlined in Politburo Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW. Other officials, including the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam and ministers from the Construction, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Environment, and Justice sectors, will also participate in the questioning and explanation process.
