Vietnam News Agency accelerates digital transformation and AI integration

The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) is undergoing a digital transformation to modernize its operations and build a multimedia news ecosystem. The agency is focusing on three primary areas: technological infrastructure, news production processes, and human resources.

Key initiatives include investments in data centers, content management systems, and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into news production. A significant development is the launch of the “Chuyen dong so” (Digital Movement) information portal. This portal utilizes a “news complex” model, allowing various newsrooms and units to collaborate on specialized content.

To improve efficiency, the VNA is strengthening connections between the content management systems of its various units and promoting cross-platform content distribution. AI is also being implemented to automate the collection and organization of information within the portal’s resources section.
