Vietnam News Agency to host 59th OANA meeting in 2027

The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) has announced it will host the 59th Executive Board Meeting of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) in 2027. The announcement was made by VNA Director General Vu Viet Trang during the 58th OANA meeting held in Moscow.

During the meeting, which was organized by the Russian news agency TASS, representatives from 13 member news agencies participated. Vu Viet Trang expressed the VNA’s readiness to contribute to the development of OANA and support regional press initiatives in the digital era. TASS Director General Andrey Kondrashov welcomed the participants, noting OANA’s 65-year history of fostering mutual support and friendship among its members.
