Vietnam NextGen Fashion Era 2 launches in Ho Chi Minh City

The Vietnam NextGen Fashion (VNGF) Era 2 event was held in Ho Chi Minh City to announce the program structure and support young fashion talent. The initiative aims to provide a platform for young designers to gain professional experience and connect with international markets.

Founder and director Long Kan stated that the program seeks to help designers move from initial concepts to professional runway shows. The competition currently features 34 young designers, including 10 top graduates from fashion design programs across the country. Beyond cash prizes, the top three winners will receive opportunities for brand development and access to international fashion activities. Additionally, catwalk director Nguyen Hung Phuc has offered two slots for outstanding models to perform in international fashion shows.

During the event, supermodel Thanh Hằng and Miss Khánh Vân participated in the activities. Thanh Hằng, acting as a mentor for the next generation of models and designers, joined the casting process to help identify talent for the Grand Fashion Show scheduled for October 9. The casting round saw participation from over 300 models.
