Vietnam officials strengthen diplomatic ties in Portugal and Burundi

Vietnamese officials conducted diplomatic missions in Portugal and Burundi to strengthen bilateral ties. In Lisbon, Gia Lai Province Chairman Phạm Anh Tuấn met with the Vietnamese Embassy to discuss investment promotion and trade connections between Gia Lai and Guarda. The discussions also highlighted historical cultural links between the two nations.

In Burundi, Deputy Foreign Minister Lê Anh Tuấn co-chaired the first political consultation meeting with Burundi's Foreign Minister Édouard Bizimana. The two sides reviewed existing memorandums and identified opportunities for cooperation in trade, investment, agriculture, science and technology, digital transformation, and mining. Both nations agreed to maintain high-level exchanges and support each other in multilateral forums.
