Vietnam People's Army conducts military readiness exercises
The Vietnam People's Army is conducting military exercises to enhance combat readiness and command capabilities. On September 16, Corps 34 held a command and staff campaign exercise involving one side and one superior level on a map. The drill, attended by Lieutenant General Le Minh Quang and Major General Le Van Cuong, focused on evaluating operational staff capacity, improving coordination between forces, and handling air defense and logistics scenarios. A key feature of this year's exercise was the increased application of information technology, digital transformation, and automation in command and control.
In a separate military activity, Lieutenant General Truong Manh Dung, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, led a delegation to Ha Tinh province to inspect preparations for the 2026 defense area exercise. The inspection aimed to ensure readiness for the province's upcoming defensive maneuvers.
