Vietnam Pickleball teams secure victories in Laos and China

Vietnamese pickleball athletes achieved significant success in recent international competitions. In Vientiane, Laos, a tournament organized for the Vietnamese community featured 96 athletes from eight clubs. The Hanoi Pickleball Club secured the championship after defeating the Nghe An Pickleball Club with a score of 3-1 in the final.

In China, the Vietnamese pickleball delegation claimed first place overall at the 2026 Beihai Open ‘Dream Come True · Boyang Cup’. Competing against athletes from Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Macau, the Vietnamese team earned 11 titles, including six championships, three runner-up positions, and two third-place finishes. Notable winners included Nguyễn Phú Phúc and Phạm Việt Hưng in the men's doubles 50-65 age group, as well as several champions in the mixed doubles and women's doubles categories.
