Vietnam Pickup Truck Festival 2026 Returns to Lăng Cô

After a three‑year pause, the Vietnam Pickup Truck Festival was held on July 27‑28, 2026 in Chân Mây, Lăng Cô, Huế. About 350 pickup trucks and roughly 1,000 drivers and enthusiasts took part in off‑road races, skill challenges and a rescue‑training exercise that simulated water‑drowning scenarios.

Ford partnered with the organizers, providing a medical team from Hanoi Medical University Hospital to teach basic first‑aid and water‑rescue techniques. The event also saw the donation of an automatic external defibrillator (AED) to the local health station and the awarding of 67 scholarships and helmets to students at Lăng Cô secondary school. Additional activities included a three‑region cooking competition, road‑law workshops and community outreach projects, highlighting the truck community’s role in promoting safety and local development.
