The Institute of Culture, Arts, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam organized a workshop to prepare a dossier for UNESCO regarding the historical figure Lý Công Uẩn and the cultural legacy of his reign.
Researchers and scientists discussed Lý Công Uẩn’s contributions to Vietnamese history, specifically his 1010 decision to move the capital from Hoa Lư to Đại La (now Thăng Long). Experts noted that this move was a strategic leadership decision that established a long-term center for political, economic, and cultural development.
