Vietnam preschools implement modern educational models and STEAM facilities

Educational institutions in Vietnam are implementing new initiatives to modernize preschool learning environments. In Son La province, the government has launched a plan to build ‘new generation’ preschool models between 2021 and 2030. The program aims to bridge the quality gap between highland and lowland areas, with a goal of having at least 60% of preschools meet national level 2 standards by 2025.

This provincial initiative focuses on upgrading facilities, including spacious classrooms, safe outdoor playgrounds, and standardized kitchens and sanitation. The curriculum is shifting toward a child-centered approach that encourages autonomy and creativity.

In Ninh Thuan, iSchool Ninh Thuan has launched a specialized ‘STEAM KIDS’ room with an investment of over 200 million VND. The facility is designed to introduce science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through hands-on experiences, such as robotics and idea-making workshops, allowing children to learn through observation and experimentation.
