Vietnam President To Lam heads June Government meeting as party cadres undergo propaganda training
President and Party General Secretary To Lam attended the regular June 2026 Government session, where Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng presented reports on the economy, implementation of Party resolutions, public investment disbursement, budget execution and upcoming national priorities. The meeting highlighted challenges from intensified geopolitical competition, Middle‑East conflicts disrupting global trade, and domestic needs for macro‑economic stability, energy security and structural reforms.
In parallel, a nationwide training conference for propaganda and mass‑mobilisation officials was held at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. Over 32,000 delegates from roughly 3,000 locations participated in a 1.5‑day program covering nine thematic modules. Speakers emphasized the implementation of the 14th Party Congress resolutions, digital transformation, and the need to strengthen ideological guidance, counter hostile viewpoints and improve the quality of propaganda work across all levels of government.
