Vietnam Private Sector Forum 2026 records 1,071 business initiatives

The Vietnam Private Sector Forum 2026 (VPSF 2026), organized by the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, has concluded its 31 local dialogue sessions. The forum aimed to foster institutional breakthroughs and public-private collaboration through a structured three-tier dialogue process involving local authorities, regional roundtables, and high-level plenary sessions.

As of October 13, the local dialogues recorded 1,071 opinions, recommendations, and initiatives from experts and direct business interactions. Approximately 81.2% of these submissions—870 items—were addressed, directed for processing, or accepted for further research. The remaining nearly 20% require clarification or higher-level authority intervention.

Key areas of concern raised by businesses include institutional implementation quality, administrative procedures, access to capital and land, logistics, infrastructure, and digital transformation. Notably, businesses have moved from merely reporting difficulties to proposing proactive solutions, such as a ‘green lane’ mechanism for inter-disciplinary investment files and digital platforms to track the progress of recommendations.
