Hanoi to host Vietnam Craft Village Fair and rural tourism events
The Agricultural Trade Promotion Center will host a series of interconnected events in Hanoi from October 8 to 12, 2026. The program includes the 22nd Vietnam Craft Village Fair, the Week for Promoting and Connecting Agricultural and Rural Tourism, and the 2026 Vietnam Handicraft Competition.
Taking place at the Agricultural Exhibition Centre on Hoang Quoc Viet Street, the events aim to create a closed value chain that links traditional craft preservation with product innovation, tourism experience, and market connectivity. The initiative seeks to transform traditional values into sustainable economic resources for rural areas.
The fair will feature approximately 100 themed booths and a 120-square-meter exhibition area, with participation from over 50 units representing 18 to 19 provinces and cities. Featured items include OCOP products (3-star rating or higher), traditional crafts such as bamboo weaving, ceramics, lacquerware, and silk, as well as regional agricultural specialties like specialty rice, tea, and dried fruits. A key focus for this edition is the integration of digital technology, including livestreaming, to enhance product promotion and consumer connection.
