Vietnam provinces focus on green industrial production and employment
In Binh Dinh province, efforts are underway to develop ecological industrial zones by promoting green production and resource efficiency. Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company is leading these initiatives at the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park, Urban and Service Area. The company has invested in green infrastructure, including renewable energy systems such as rooftop solar panels with a capacity of approximately 91.7 kWp, which are expected to reduce CO2 emissions by about 136 tons annually. Additionally, the company is exploring a 210 MWp solar farm project and aims to reuse at least 75% of treated wastewater.
In Phu Tho province, local authorities are prioritizing job creation and income stability through labor supply-demand connections and vocational counseling. Mobile job fairs have been implemented in mountainous areas like Son Luong commune to help residents access employment opportunities outside of agriculture. According to the Department of Home Affairs, the number of employed workers in the province increased by nearly 56,300 during the first nine months of 2026, representing 109.5% of the annual target and a 22.4% increase compared to the same period last year.
