Vietnam provinces report significant tourism revenue growth

Tourism sectors in Cao Bang and Tay Ninh provinces in Vietnam have reported significant growth during the first nine months of 2026.

In Cao Bang, tourism revenue increased by 27% compared to the same period last year, reaching nearly 3 trillion VND. The province welcomed approximately 110,000 international visitors, a 22% increase. Growth is attributed to synchronized promotional solutions, improved product quality, and the preservation of local ethnic cultural identities through various art and sporting events.

Tay Ninh province recorded 7.45 million visitors, an 18.8% increase from the previous year. Tourism revenue in Tay Ninh reached 6,740 billion VND, representing a 52.8% surge. The province is focusing on diversifying products and expanding regional links, including hosting the 2026 TPO Vietnam Regional Conference and researching river-based tourism and natural resource-linked products to establish tourism as a spearhead economic sector by 2030.
