Vietnam pushes tourism and investment projects in Tram Chim National Park and Bui Hui grassland
Vietnam is advancing a series of tourism and investment initiatives. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang chaired a roundtable in Amsterdam with leading Dutch businesses to explore investment opportunities in the country. The government also launched a nationwide competition to design the logo and visual identity for APEC 2027, while highlighting the Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark and promoting a shift toward "creative labour" as outlined by Party General Secretary To Lam. Prime Minister Le Minh Hung discussed expanding trade and investment ties with New Zealand, and the Cai Mep Ha Free Trade Zone was presented as a new gateway for the maritime economy. In Quang Ngai, local authorities completed a preliminary survey for a trekking tourism product called “Waking the Green Trail” ahead of the 2026 Bui Hui Grassland Festival, aiming to create a sustainable tourism route that links natural scenery with local cultural heritage.
