Vietnam readies toll collection on Quang Ngai–Nha Trang highway

Heavy rains caused landslides that blocked several key roads in Tuyen Quang Province, prompting local authorities to clear debris and restore traffic flow. The landslides disrupted travel for residents and required urgent repair work on National Route 30.

The Vietnam Road Administration announced that toll collection will begin on August 14 for the Quang Ngai–Nha Trang highway corridor, covering five project sections from Quang Ngai to Nha Trang. Contractors are instructed to complete equipment installation, software integration, and staff training by August 10 to enable trial operations, and the new closed‑loop toll system will be linked with adjacent highway segments.
